Day of Caring
The Livingston County United Way’s 16th Annual Day of Caring is the largest single-day volunteer event in Livingston County! The next Day of Caring runs Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Visit www.lcdayofcaring.org.
The high-impact event has grown over the years with over 1,300 volunteers working on 134 projects in 2017. Volunteers are needed for morning, afternoon or all-day shifts to do yard work for local seniors, wash windows, make minor household repairs, paint, harvest at community gardens, hold food drives, and more. Community Connect is a one-day community-wide event connecting local families in need to free direct services. The annual event is typically held the first Saturday in February at Parker Middle School (Howell). Learn more.
