Community Wellness



Community Wellness includes dental services, senior center programs and transportation, substance abuse treatment, advocacy and special activities for disabled individuals, and mental health support.
    
This past year, your United Way:

INFORMED the community about local trends in opiate abuse through a rally, professional workshop, and community forums.

ENGAGED 3,157 volunteers in over 36,415 hours of valuable service to the community through events, ongoing opportunities, and website • Volunteer Livingston

DESIGNATED as a “Michigan Community for a Lifetime,” Livingston County is focused on meeting the needs of our growing senior population • Leadership Council on Aging

GAVE VOICE to local residents’ perspectives regarding the needs of the community through workshops, public dialogue, surveys, and events.

TEAMED UP 1,000+ volunteers to assist seniors, residents and local organizations at 110 different projects for the 2014 Day of Caring.
